Everything you need to know about Hashimoto’s Disease

Everything you need to know about Hashimoto’s Disease

HEALTH CLUB HASHIMOTO

Is a company advocate for Health and Hashimoto disease. I created this club to share with others what I have learned and found about Hashimoto’s while at the same time creating products exclusively formulated for all Hashimoto patients who struggle to find products completely organic, clean and dedicated to Hashimoto thyroiditis and autoimmune diseases.

Our fabrications are third party tested to ensure they are gluten, dairy, soy and artificial fillers free. Skin products are also dermatological and organic, without all the endocrine disruptors that trigger autoimmune reaction; we select the best ingredients so that you can live your best hashimoto life without worrying about chemicals that increase flares in autoimmune diseases.

This company was founded in 2019. It has been a great pleasure to see how everyone can find something to relate to and find comfort in the club.

The idea is to connect and create awareness, along with coaches from different areas such as nutrition, science, exercise, mindset, personal growth, and much more to create a conversation, research, articles, books, opinions, ideas, tips…etc all related to Hashimoto’s.

We all need something to motivate us. We invite everyone with Hashimoto’s or thyroiditis to take a look at our webpage  www.healthclub4you.com;; perhaps you’ll discover something that can help you start or continue your journey.

The idea behind the webpage/club is that every hashimoto patient can find everything they need to get informed as well as treatment all in one place; Supplements, Skin treatment, stress management, nutrition, exercise, and a feeling that you are not alone. This is why always we say “WELCOME TO THE CLUB”

MY LIFE, MY STORY, MY PASSION

My name’s Angelica Galleguillos, I’m originally from Chile though I’m currently living in the United States. I’m the mother of 4 beautiful children (3 girls and 1 boy), and very happily married to my handsome Swedish husband.

My journey began In 2014 when I found out I had Hashimoto’s disease. I decided, right then and there, I didn’t want to just accept my diagnosis and the fact that there was nothing anyone could do to better my health. This is why I learned more about nutrition, to help heal my body naturally. In doing so, I became Certified in Holistic Nutrition, and successfully created “Health Club Hashimoto”. This allows everyone who’s been diagnosed to have a safe place where we can share their experience and learn from each other.

In order to understand what living with Hashimotos is like you must have the disease, because to an outsider you still look good, you look happy, you look healthy, while at the same time being and feeling really sick on the inside.

I created a Club where we can talk to each other and learn from each other, because we know exactly what it feels like to wake up every morning and live with this disease. Now, I’m helping others to learn and recover from Hashimoto’s and have since made a commitment to help others transform their health and feel better.

 NEW CHALLENGES

In 2021, my world turned upside down, when I discovered I had cancer in my uterus and cervix. All of 2021 and half of 2022 I was focused on my recovery and enjoying every moment with my family, trying to learn how we can help each other. Long story short, I had a hysterectomy and 2 other surgeries and now I’m cancer free. Everyday I am more grateful for this opportunity to continue with my health journey, as well as how incredibly proud I am with how far I’ve come with this club.

During my time or rehabilitation I was disconnected from my Hashimoto tribe and line of work, but After everything I’ve survived, now better than ever I am ready to relaunch this club as we welcome 2023.

I am 50 years old, and I’ve never felt more alive. It’s NEVER too late to start helping others.

 MY MISSION

Live every day from the heart and share the knowledge I’ve learned throughout my journey that if there’s a will there’s a chance to help others. I’m always learning new studies or researching new options for Hashimotos, because I have it too, and nobody told me about it.

 MY WORK

Ever since being diagnosed, I’ve worked with many people, spoken in front of countless groups: and I have created supplements and programs :

“Recover your health naturally, Hashimoto disease : Transform Your Health in 8 weeks” soon to be re-launched. A 2-month program where you are going to reconnect with yourself and recover the health that you want.

The workshops, products and programs were created for people who seriously want to take their health back into their own hands, and not let this disease dominate them no more. This program is FREE with your “Hashimoto Essential”, 8 weeks of step by step nutrition, detox, ideas, explanations, suggestions and more.

Why?… Because I know what it is to feel really bad and not know where to start. So I got all the information, studies, research, and put it all in one place for you to learn and recover your health. Is SIMPLE, but it is not EASY, you need consistency and commitment with yourself. Being a resilient warrior woman myself, I’m known to work best with other warrior people who are committed to their health.

You will be expected to take serious and consistent action. No excuses anymore. You are not alone.

 OUR EXPERIENCE SO FAR

I started with the motivation to help myself, to better my Hashimoto’s condition. Along the way I felt motivated to motivate others who were also uneased with their diagnosis. Help the people who were told they would have to take a pill for the rest of their life, or that their life would never be the same. I choose not to believe in those odds, but instead believe in myself. Now I’m taking my knowledge and sharing it with those in the same position I was a couple years ago, to let them know that I still believe in them even if they’ve given up on their health and, that I believe them until hopefully in the end they do too. Yes, we are a small company but we ARE and WILL make a difference.

 WHAT CHALLENGES HAVE WE FACED?

The biggest challenge thus far has been to find the best and organic products to create something really pure.

When I decided to do the line of supplements, I thought it would be easy to find organic supply , Non GMO manufacturers, with all the certifications to create Gluten FREE, Dairy Free, Soy FREE, corn FREE, chemical free, additive free, and artificial flavor free. That was not true. Firstly, not all manufacturers have the resources to do all of these certifications and finding reliable third parties was not easy either.

The same goes for the skin products, they need to be free from Parabens, phthalates, propylene glycol, formaldehyde, sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), mineral oil, petrolatum, diethanolamine (DEA), polyethylene beads. None of which was hard to find, but we made it possible.

I know I’m not a chemist, therefore I needed to hire a specialist for the exact formula I wanted. It has been 1 year since we started this journey and began the production of my dream products.

While I know the market for supplements is a very competitive field, I am confident our products will find their way to the right people.

THE SUPPLEMENT MARKET OPPORTUNITIES

The global dietary supplements market size was valued at USD 151.9 billion in 2021 and is expected to expand at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 8.9% from 2022 to 2030. In our case, increasing Hashimoto’s, thyroiditis and autoimmune disease consumer awareness toward personal health and wellbeing is expected to be a key driving factor for dietary supplements over the forecast period. The working population around the globe is struggling to fulfill the dairy nutrient requirements due to hectic work schedules and changing lifestyles. Increasing dependence on the supplements to fulfill the nutrient requiremen= is expected to drive the market over the forecast period.

ADVICE TO OTHER ENTREPRENEURS?

If you have a dream, go for it. Keep learning and be humble and open to listen to those who have been there before you and have succeeded.

Learn to manage your time, because you are your own boss. Define your goals in short, medium, and long-term and check on them daily.

You need to have a very clear niche, don’t try to get all the planets at once, describe your niche, and know them more than anyone, they are going to be your customers and also your friends if you give them quality products.

DON’T GIVE UP, challenges will come your way. But doesnt mean you can’t continue, if you need to take a short time and continue, but don’t give up. I believe in synergies, if you have some friend’s business that can help you grow and you can help them grow, help each other and grow together.

Learn about your competitors, they have a business like you, learn from them and never talk bad about them, just focus on your progress and help others.

Be around people who can inspire you and help you grow.

Yes, I’m 50 years old and yes, I just re-started my business this year. It is never too late to start something new or to finally commit to something you love.

Most importantly, enjoy it, the next entrepreneur who is going to change the world could be you.

We can not change the world completely, but we can help one person at a time, and the people around you will change with you.

Nutritionist, Cornell University, MS I believe that nutrition science is a wonderful helper both for the preventive improvement of health and adjunctive therapy in treatment. My goal is to help people improve their health and well-being without torturing themselves with unnecessary dietary restrictions. I am a supporter of a healthy lifestyle – I play sports, cycle, and swim in the lake all year round. With my work, I have been featured in Vice, Country Living, Harrods magazine, Daily Telegraph, Grazia, Women's Health, and other media outlets.
