Founder’s/Owner’s story and what motivated them to start the business

Amanda founded the business in 2010.  She worked at Neiman Marcus for many years and has an intimate understanding of the white glove service in person. was born from that experience and reinterprets how white gloves can still be a customer experience online.  Since starting has facilitated the sale of luxury goods across the United States and globally to the value of USD $300 million.  Amanda is a native of Denver Colorado, one of the most picturesque states in these United!  She also has spent time travelling in Europe, particularly in Spain and to Australia where she has a number of other business investments.  In a post COVID world she likes to split her time between Australia and the United States to ensure customers are looked after, deliver items to regular customers and visit family.

The challenges the business/market is facing

Building trust online is much more difficult than a brick and mortar store.   Given only 20% of luxury goods are transacted online, goes the extra mile to educate customers on how their payments are protected and how we ensure the items they purchase are authentic. provides an authenticity guarantee.  What this means is that no item we sell will ever be inauthentic.  We do understand that there are rare occasions where replicas can slip through the first line of checking, especially those that are of such high quality they are indistinguishable from the real item.  In the event this were to occur, we take the item back and either issue a refund or replace it with the correct item.  It should be noted that all products go through the highest levels of scrutiny.  We are yet to see one slip through however, it’s always important to let customers know there is complete peace of mind in the event this does occur.’s key customer base are largely un-impacted by interest rate rises.  We keep a watching brief on global inflation and ensure that where we have secured inventory for a particular price that we continue to offer the lower price where possible.

The opportunities the business/market is facing
